Cookie policy

Summary

Our own pages do not set cookies. If you use the quote form, its provider sets one security cookie and keeps a few items in your browser's storage. Nothing on darlingtondecking.co.uk tracks you for advertising or statistics.

What we don't use

Darlington Decking runs no visitor analytics and no advertising or social media trackers.

Consent

UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) allows storage that is strictly necessary for a service you ask for without consent. Everything listed here is needed for the quote form you choose to use, so we don't show a banner. If we ever add non-essential cookies, we will ask first.

Our own cookies

No cookies come from our own pages. The only item stored under our domain is a local storage entry beginning embedded_iframe, written by the form's embed script to size and show the form.

Cloudflare Turnstile

Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not a bot, is using the form. It can store a small cf.turnstile value in local storage for its own domain, solely for that check.

Local storage used by the form

In local storage on the provider's domain you may find:

• v2_… and v3_… entries: session and visit history, and a browser ID used to show which page your enquiry came from;
• form_progress_…: your progress through the form.

These remain until you delete them in your browser.

The form's security cookie

Our form provider, LeadConnector, uses Cloudflare to protect its servers, which can place a cookie called __cf_bm on leadconnectorhq.com. It expires after around 30 minutes and exists only for security.

About cookies and local storage

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Local storage is a similar feature that lets a site keep information on your device. This page covers both.

How to control or delete them

Every major browser lets you clear cookies and site data, or block them altogether. Blocking may stop the quote form loading, in which case allow cookies for it while you send your enquiry.
